Recruitment Details- The Indian Air Force releases details on the 'Agnipath' recruitment scheme in a PDF format on its official website https://indianairforce.nic.in/agniveer/. For IAF, Registration to start on 24th June 2022 onwards, the Online Exam to start on 24th July 2022, the first batch of Agniveers to be induced in IAF in December 2022 and training to start from 30th December 2022 onwards.
Indian Air Force & Indian Army will be releasing detailed Agneepath Recruitment Notifications in June 2022 on their respective official websites.

10% vacancies in CAPF: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said it has decided to reserve 10 per cent vacancies for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles for Agniveers.
Incentives- The ministries of home affairs and defence announced concessions and incentives that will assist Agniveers in their further employment. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said the PSUs under his housing and petroleum ministries are working on hiring 'Agniveers' after their four-year service in the armed forces.
Revised Age Limit- The upper age limit for Agniveers has been revised to 23 years.
Reservation- The government has announced a 10% reservation for ‘Agniveers’ in central police forces & Assam Rifles with upper age relaxation. Defence Ministry also came up with a 10% quota which will cover the Coast Guard, defence civilian posts and 16 defence PSUs, which include major ones like Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Electronics, as well as four shipyards and 41 ordnance factories.
Selection Process By Air Force Under Agneepath Scheme is to begin from 24th June 2022 onwards as announced by Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari.
Notification Release- "Agneepath Recruitment 2022 process is going start from 20th June 2022. The official notification for India Army Bharti will be released on 20th June 2022 at https://joinindianarmy.nic.in and the recruitment process for India Navy will start on 21st June 2022. After that our Army recruitment organisations will declare a detailed schedule of registration and rally"
Training- As per, Army Chief General Manoj Pande, the training of first agniveers will begin this December (in 2022) at the centres.

The youth selected under the Agneepath scheme will be categorised as Agniveers. Agniveers will be offered an opportunity to apply for permanent enrolment in the Armed Forces after a period of 4 years. The youths falling in the age group of 17.5 years to 23 years (revised upper age limit) who favour patriotism, teamwork, enhancement of physical fitness, ingrained loyalty to the country and availability of trained personnel to boost national security in times of external threats, internal threats and natural disasters can apply through Agneepath Yojna to become Agniveers.

1. To enhance the youthful profile of the Armed Forces so that they are at their fighting best at all times with increased risk-taking ability.

3. To provide abilities and qualities such as discipline, motivation, dynamism, and work skills so that youth remains as an asset.
4. To provide an opportunity to the youth who may be keen to serve the Nation in uniform for a short period of time.
5. To attract youth talent among the society to effectively exploit, adopt, and use emerging modern technologies with enhanced technical thresholds of intake while leveraging Technical institutions of the country.

Agneepath Scheme Vacancy 2022
Through Agneepath Scheme around 46,000 soldiers are to be recruited for the Indian Army, Indian Navy and India Air Force. The detailed and elaborated vacancy distribution will be released shortly by Indian Army. The recruitment of women under the will depend on the needs of the respective services.

Agneepath Yojna Salary
Agniveers will be given an attractive customised monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services. On completion of their engagement period of 4 years, Agniveers will be paid one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of Rs 11.71 Lakh which shall comprise their contribution including accrued interest thereon and matching contribution from the Government equal to the accumulated amount of their contribution including interest as indicated below. The salary for Agniveers in the 1st year will be around Rs. 4.76 lakh per annum which increases to Rs. 6.92 lakh per annum for the final year. The ‘Seva Nidhi’ will be exempt from Income Tax.

Agneepath Scheme Protests
Thousands of youngsters, who are staging protests in parts of Bihar, UP, Uttarakhand and Haryana, are demanding an immediate rollback of the scheme. Protests against the Centre's Agnipath recruitment scheme continued in several parts of the country for the third day on Friday. The protests are carried as the radical scheme to recruit the bulk of soldiers for only four years will hit the professionalism, regimental ethos and fighting spirit of the Army. The protests, which started in Bihar, have now spread to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. Some Highlights of the Agneepath Scheme Protests going around the country are as follows-
